Rub 411

IT COULDN'T BE EASIER TO PREPARE A STEAK WITH STAGNER STEAK RUB

First, choose your cut of beef – the bigger the better, if you ask us – and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes. It takes the chill out (brr) allowing for even cooking and in our opinion, a more tender (delicious) piece of meat

Then rub the meat with olive oil to prepare it for the rub.
What kind of olive oil, you ask?
Just about any kind will do. We’ve used everything from light to extra virgin, grocery store brand to fancy food store brand. About a quarter-sized dot per side of the steak is generally enough to do the trick. Be sure to rub the steak with enough to coat both sides and edges.
Why olive oil?
Not only does it keep the meat from drying out when grilling, it really brings out the flavor of the steak rub since several of the ingredients dissolve in oil.

Next, thoroughly rub Stagner's Steak Rub on the meat. How much you use is purely personal, but we like to get pretty liberal with our rub. It’s actually quite hard to ovedo it – remember some rub will come off in the grilling process, so don’t be shy. Go nuts! Our recipe is made to compliment the natural flavors of the beef, not to overpower.
WAIT!
Only about 4 or 5 minutes are needed before throwing your meat on the grill.

Now you're ready to grill or cook the meat to to your liking

ENJOY YOUR MEAL AND REPEAT AS OFTEN AS NECESSARY!
